Baritone Andrew Groble is a graduate student at DePaul University under the tutelage of David Alt. With DePaul Opera Theatre, he will be seen as Harry Easter in their upcoming production of Street Scene and also appeared as Gabriel von Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus and Don Eusebio in L’occasione fa il ladro.  As a concert soloist, Andrew performed as Aeneas in DePaul Baroque Ensemble's Dido and Aeneas, and was the baritone soloist in Fauré's Requiem with the Oberlin ExCo Choir, as well as Jaffett in Britten's Noye's Fludde with the St. Vincent Chamber Chorale.  During his undergraduate studies with Timothy Lefebvre at Oberlin Conservatory, Andrew performed the roles of Nardo (La finta giardiniera) and Bartender (A Wedding) with the Oberlin Opera Theater, as well as appearing as a member of the chorus in The Bartered Bride and La Clemenza di Tito.  As part of various opera scenes programs at both DePaul and Oberlin, Andrew has studied a myriad of roles, including Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Conte Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Dottore Malatesta (Don Pasquale), and Krušina (Prodaná nevěsta).  Andrew has been a young artist with the Oberlin in Italy Summer Program and the CoOPERAtive Program at Westminster.
